My clients are adult men and women. They have often felt that feeling of powerlessness, stuckness, and lack clarity, purpose and meaningfulness in their lives.
Those feelings can take many forms. Some have a habit or an addictive behavior that they just can’t kick, and others are in an unfulfilling relationship that isn’t getting better. Some have experienced childhood/adult trauma and unresolved stress or conflict with family members for years. Some feel isolated in grief/trauma over a loss that has left them unable to live the life they envision for themselves. Many clients describe cycling through the same thoughts, and feelings over and over without progress. Their stories are different, but all feel some combination of frustration, defeat, and hopelessness. They are motivated and ready for growth and change. That is the work we do together.
My approach is collaborative, integrative and empathetic. I challenge clients to gently, gently let things go that no longer serve them. To see things with a new perspective and approach their concerns anew. We strategically discuss the past to better understand it, come to terms with it, and to move boldly into the future.
